iRG DELIGHTED WITH DEVILS DEAL
As part of the corporate tie-up, iRG has become a jersey sponsor and put its name to a new fun feature that has been slipped into the game-night entertainment to the delight of spectators at the Vindico Arena. Taking place during the first period break, ‘The Frost and The Furious’ slot sees fans race in teams of two on the ice in iRG-liveried go-karts for the chance to win a Devils merchandise voucher.
“We’re delighted to welcome iRG into the Devils family,” said Katrina Williams, Operations Director of the Cardiff Devils. “Their drive for excellence and commitment to innovation make them the perfect partner for our club. Just as they set the standard in the accident repair industry, we aim to set the standard in British ice hockey.
“We’re thrilled to have the iRG name on our player jerseys but also have their support to launch our new fan engagement activity, The Frost and The Furious, which helps us create unique experiences that take the fun of hockey beyond the game,” added Katrina. “With iRG’s brand presence across the season, the collaboration not only strengthens the Devils’ sponsorship network but also highlights the powerful connections between elite sport and leading businesses in the region."
2026 marks the 40th anniversary of the Devils’ formation and the club is now firmly established as a pillar of the sporting community in Wales. During the past decade, the Devils have lifted eight major titles and, in January after reaching the finals for the two previous years, became only the second British team ever to win the Continental Cup European competition.
With sell-out crowds of 3,100 at every home fixture and more than 70 games played between August and mid-April, the partnership will expose the iRG name to ice hockey fans and audiences all over the country watching in person or via TV or online coverage.
“The Cardiff Devils have a great reputation both on and off the ice so, when the opportunity arose, it just made sense for us as Wales’ largest accident repair group to partner with the biggest and most successful ice hockey team in Wales,” said Dan Lewis, Financial Director, iRG Repair Group. “As organisations, our values align and we share many synergies such as innovation, teamwork, striving for excellence and making a difference in the community.”
Dan continued: “Ice hockey fans are known for being loyal, passionate, and family oriented, and it’s one of the few sports in the UK where the crowd demographic is almost an equal 50/50 split between men and women. That makes our partnership a brilliant way to connect with a wide audience in an inclusive, energetic environment and grow our presence in a genuine way but also give our backing to Welsh sport.”
