CAPITAL GAINS FOR iRG CARDIFF

In what is a significant development for Wales’ largest repairer, iRG is now authorised to undertake repairs on vehicles representing the manufacturer’s 10 brands at its Cardiff site.

IRG's Hereford operation has Ford approval but the agreement with Stellantis is the Group’s first in Wales although that looks set to be added to very soon.

“With the number of brands within Stellantis, this approval allows us to further our repair offering to insurers and working partners, adding quality, confidence and trust to every repair we carry out,” said Lee Wallbank, iRG’s Managing Director.

“It’s great news for the business and we hope more will follow in the new year,” he added. “We’re currently working towards securing some other exciting manufacturer approvals to strengthen our offering to Welsh drivers and our work providers which we hope to announce in the first quarter of 2026.”

The addition of iRG to its Multi-Brand Accident Repair Programme bolsters the scheme’s geographic coverage and increases the Stellantis network to 164 repairers carrying out work on some of the most well-known cars seen on UK roads including Peugeot, Citroen and Vauxhall.

Simon Taylor, Regional Manager for the Stellantis Multi-Brand Accident Repair Programme, said: “We are delighted to welcome iRG Cardiff onto the programme representing our 10 UK brands, providing a high level accident repair service to Cardiff and the surrounding areas. We look forward to working with the team at IRG and developing a strong partnership with them.”
