CUSTOMER-FIRST APPROACH EARNS RECOGNITION FOR iRG
Wales’ largest repair group has recently been honoured by Enterprise in its 2026 Repair Partner Awards that recognise outstanding customer service and performance over the course of 12 months and has also achieved a notable treble in a quarterly awards scheme operated by the leading work provider.
iRG Merthyr was named Best Customer Repair Partner for Enterprise’s South-West region at a special ceremony held at Hilton at St George’s Park, the home of the English national football centre.
This latest accolade follows hot on the heels of iRG Pontypridd being chosen as recipient of a regional NPS (Net Promoter Score) Award based on the feedback of customers relating to their repair experience. Pontypridd’s achievement completed a hat-trick for iRG as its locations in Merthyr and Newport have also won the same award in recent times.
“We’re extremely proud of our partnership with Enterprise Rent-A-Car and to have been named as one of its Best Customer Repair Partners alongside winning an NPS Award from them for the third time in quick succession is a fantastic achievement for every member of the iRG team,” said Lee Wallbank, Managing Director, iRG Repair Group.
“These awards recognise the consistent and unstinting commitment of every member of staff and reinforces our reputation for delivering outstanding customer services and quality repairs across the group.”
Whilst work volumes and repair types vary between each of iRG’s six locations, every site implemented the same high standards for quality, efficiency and customer care with a group-wide ‘customer-first culture’ in place.
“Our customers and work providers can rest assured that we won’t be resting on our laurels,” continued Lee. “As we’ve always done, we will continually improve our processes, invest in staff training, focus on communication and quality control, and use customer feedback to ensure our service provision is the very best it can be at all times.”
iRG was one of 12 companies to receive awards at the St George’s Park event, which was attended by around 400 representatives from the collision repair industry.
"iRG Merthyr have been an outstanding partner to Enterprise, consistently delivering high standards of repair quality and customer service,” said Richard Scorah, Group Vehicle Operations Manager, Southwest England & Wales, Enterprise Rent-A-Car. “Their recognition as Best Customer Repair Partner in the South-West is thoroughly deserved and reflects the dedication, professionalism and customer-first approach demonstrated by the entire team.
“We are also delighted to see iRG Pontypridd recognised with the NPS Award for Q3, highlighting the strength of the wider iRG network and its commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.”
Richard added: “We value our partnership with iRG and look forward to building on this success together."
