Valeter: Valeters ensure every customers vehicle goes back to them, without any indication we’ve been in there. Making sure each vehicle has an interior and exterior shows no sign of the repair carried out and any debris or dust contamination is cleaned away. Presentation of the vehicle back to the customer show be a primary focus.

Duties Include:

·           Use of high-pressure hose/jet wash to clean vehicle, effectively and accurately.

·           Steam cleaning of engine bays, door frames/shuts, wheel arches, wheels

·           Vacuuming vehicle interiors

·           Using appropriate cleaning products to wipe/clean the interior surfaces/upholstery of the vehicle

·           Applying appropriate gels and finishing compounds to the exterior of the vehicle where applicable

·           Cleaning of vehicle glass/mirrors

·           Wax application and minor vehicle polishing where necessary

·           Application of paint protection products (superguard etc) where necessary

·           Applying the above criteria to the Courtesy Car Fleet when required

·           Collection and delivery of vehicles if required

·           Be aware at all times of cleaning product stock levels, and maintain a current stock of cleaning products

·           Awareness and safe use of all cleaning chemicals, their storage and disposal  - diluting in water where instructed

·           Awareness/Identification of Hybrid/Electric Systems

·           Comply at all times with Company Policies and instructions at all times, specifically those on Health and Safety, working safely and efficiently at all times with customers, colleague and suppliers

·           Adhering as well to rules regarding the use of PPE, Security, Parking and Driving onsite

·           Adherence to the Company’s Equal Opportunities and Diversity Policy at all times

·           Maintaining and upskilling current knowledge of the industry

·           Report immediately any breach of Company Policy, Equipment failure/damage, queries of concerns you have to your Manager

·           Perform in a suitable manner any other tasks and duties reasonably required of you


Skills Required:

Use of pressure/jet washer

Use of cleaning chemicals

Use of vacuum cleaner

Training in Paint Protection (Superguard) not necessary but advantageous
